The zinnia flower has endless meanings. In common culture it can mean thoughts of friendship, endurance, daily remembrance, goodness, and lasting affection.
As we navigate through life we encounter both bliss and brutality. We come face to face with peace and war, love and hate, life and death.
What I have found in my experience both professional and personally is that sometimes our roots are forced to grow stronger when planted in unpleasant conditions. There is a lasting beauty in hardship, and a sense of wisdom to be captured in life’s rawest and toughest form.
I hope to bring to you a sense of goodness in a world that often times feels corrupt or difficult to navigate, and maybe even help you gain a new perspective or two – just as others bring to me daily.
Through both writing and photography I aim to spread and plant seeds of friendship, endurance, daily remembrance, and lasting affection.
Light & love.
